Microneedling is a treatment that uses a small device which has a detachable tip that creates microscopic punctures in your skin.  These punctures trigger your body into repair mode – regenerating skin cells, stimulating the lymphatic and circulatory system, and producing more collagen and elastin.

When used in conjunction with high quality TCM serums the results are even more pronounced.

The acupuncturist will clean your skin and prepare it with a numbing cream before using the microneedling pen and sterile stainless steel needle tip cartridge to penetrate layers of your skin.

This process promotes collagen production and cellular regeneration, and allows maximum absorption of our custom plant-based stem cell serums (selected based on skin type and needs).

The procedure is relatively painless and feels like a tiny vibration.

Your practitioner will review the aftercare information with you and send you home with a vial of serum to apply for post-care.

Once the numbing cream wears off, your face may feel a little tender, tight, and/or mildly sunburned for approximately 8-12 hours. Keep skin moisturized, hydrated and comfortable with additional serum.

You may be blotchy and red for 1-2 days post treatment. Mild flaking of skin may occur around days 3-5. Sunscreen should be applied and exposure to the sun minimized. We ask that you do not use makeup nor any chemicals on your face for at least 24 hours post treatment.
